Xurban Alien is a series of ten prints from four different matrices layered on top of one another using a system partially determined by chance and partially determined by the artist. Each matrix contains an image from the perspective of someone in but not among a crowd, in a busy restaurant, on a commuter train, on the street, and observing a map. The series invokes the excitement of travel and of the urban environment while simultaneously hinting at the isolation of crowded places.
